Satish Kaushik was an Indian actor, director, producer and comedian who was one of Hindi cinema's most beloved character artists. Satish Kaushik was born on 13 April 1956 in the village of Dhanunda, Mahendragarh district, Haryana, and grew up in Delhi. He graduated from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University, before training at the National School of Drama and the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune.
