Ahmed Khan

Ahmed Khan is an Indian film director and choreographer who works in Hindi cinema. Born on 3 June 1974 in Pune, Maharashtra, he began as a child performer and dancer before becoming one of Bollywood's leading choreographers, winning Filmfare Awards for Best Choreography for Rangeela (1995) and Kick (2014). He later moved into direction, making his debut with Lakeer – Forbidden Lines (2004) and the comedy Fool & Final (2007). His biggest success as a director came with the action films Baaghi 2 (2018) and Baaghi 3 (2020), both starring Tiger Shroff, followed by Heropanti 2 (2022). Ahmed Khan is married to Shaira Khan, a former model who now works as a producer through the couple's company, Paperdoll Entertainment. The two married in February 1998 and have two sons, Azaan and Subhaan. His brother, Bobby Khan, also works in film direction. The family is based in Mumbai.

Ahmed Khan began on screen as a child, with early appearances in films such as Mr. India (1987). His skill as a dancer soon drew him toward choreography, and he trained on set before taking on films of his own.

Khan became one of Hindi cinema's most sought-after choreographers, designing song and dance sequences for films including Rangeela (1995), Taal, Ghajini (2008), Heropanti (2014) and Kick (2014).
