Born on 28 November 1985 in Mumbai, he is the son of veteran Marathi actor Ravindra Mahajani. He made his acting debut in the Marathi film Mumbaicha Dabewala and gained popularity through films such as Deool Band and Carry On Deshpande. He became widely known to Hindi audiences through the television serial Imlie, in which he played the lead.
