De De Pyaar De 2

Ashish Chawla, a well-off NRI investor in his fifties, is serious about his relationship with the much younger Ayesha — and now he must win the blessing of her family. The trouble begins when her parents realise the suitor is nearly their own age. Unwilling to accept the match, they cook up a scheme to prise the couple apart, even enlisting Ayesha’s childhood friend to turn her head. What follows is a comedy of clashing generations, wounded egos and second chances, as Ashish tries to prove that love can bridge the age gap.

De De Pyaar De 2 was directed by Anshul Sharma and written by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain, as a follow-up to the 2019 film. It was produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg under the T-Series Films and Luv Films banners. The film was photographed by Sudhir K. Chaudhary and edited by Chetan M. Solanki, running about 146 minutes.

The soundtrack drew on several composers, including Yo Yo Honey Singh, Jaani and Payal Dev, mixing party numbers with romantic tracks to suit the film’s breezy tone.

De De Pyaar De 2 released on 14 November 2025 and grossed around ₹104.67 crore worldwide. Critical reaction was mixed: reviewers singled out the performances, particularly R. Madhavan’s, while feeling the story leaned on a familiar formula. The film ended up underperforming against its sizeable budget.
