Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari

Sunny is left crushed when his proposal is turned down, and Tulsi, a schoolteacher, is dumped by her wealthy boyfriend Vikram over the gap in their backgrounds. Thrown together by their heartbreak, the two hatch a plan: pretend to be a happy couple at Vikram’s lavish wedding and make their exes burn with jealousy. As the celebrations spiral into misunderstandings and comic mishaps, the pretend romance starts to feel real, forcing Sunny and Tulsi to admit that the act they put on may be the truest thing about them.

Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari was written and directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Adar Poonawalla and Khaitan under the Dharma Productions and Mentor Disciple Entertainment banners. The film was photographed by Manush Nandan and edited by Manan Sagar and Charu Shree Roy, with a runtime of about 135 minutes, in the glossy wedding-comedy mould Dharma is known for.

The soundtrack brought together several composers, including Tanishk Bagchi, Sachet-Parampara and Guru Randhawa, blending wedding-season dance numbers with romantic songs to fit the film’s festive tone.

Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari released on 2 October 2025 and grossed around ₹99.39 crore. Reviews were mixed: critics enjoyed the lead pair’s chemistry and the film’s easy humour, but several felt it never fully committed to its story, calling it pleasant but lightweight.
