Do Deewane Seher Mein

Shashank Sharma, held back by a stammer, and Roshni Shrivastava, self-conscious about her appearance, are introduced through an arranged-marriage setup that at first goes nowhere. As the two keep crossing paths they begin dating quietly, drawn together by a shared sense of not quite fitting in. Through misunderstandings and reconciliations they gradually give each other the confidence to face their fears, and their tentative romance grows into a decision to build a life together.

The film was directed by Ravi Udyawar from a screenplay by Abhiruchi Chand, and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Prerna Singh, Umesh Kumar Bansal and Bharat Kumar Ranga under Bhansali Productions, Zee Studios and Rancorp Media. Kaushal Shah handled the cinematography and Monisha Baldawa edited the film, which runs about 137 minutes. It released in theatres on 20 February 2026 and premiered on Netflix on 17 April 2026.

The soundtrack was composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, Shreyas Puranik and others, and takes its title from the classic song “Do Deewane Shehar Mein” from the 1977 film Gharaonda, originally composed by Jaidev with lyrics by Gulzar.

Do Deewane Seher Mein opened to mixed reviews, with critics’ ratings ranging from 1.5 to 3.5 stars. Reviewers praised the chemistry between Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur and the film’s relatable, low-key storytelling, while others felt it lacked dramatic impact. It earned roughly ₹9.68 crore at the box office before moving to streaming on Netflix.
