Tere Ishk Mein

Shankar is an impulsive, larger-than-life young man whose world tilts when he meets Mukti, who is studying him as part of her research. He falls deeply, obsessively in love, but Mukti pulls away and moves on with her life, leaving him shattered. Years later Shankar has remade himself as an Air Force officer, yet the unresolved past resurfaces when the two cross paths again. What follows is a fierce, aching love story about passion, pride and sacrifice, carrying forward the emotional intensity of its spiritual predecessor Raanjhanaa.

Tere Ishk Mein was directed by Aanand L. Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma with Neeraj Yadav, reuniting the Raanjhanaa creative team with Dhanush. It was produced under the Colour Yellow Productions and T-Series Films banners, photographed by Tushar Kanti Ray and edited by Hemal Kothari, with a runtime of about 169 minutes.

The music and background score were composed by A. R. Rahman, whose collaboration with Aanand L. Rai gave the film a lush, emotionally charged soundtrack that critics singled out as a highlight.

Tere Ishk Mein released on 28 November 2025 and grossed around ₹148.5 crore worldwide, making it a commercial success. Reviews were mixed: critics praised the lead performances of Dhanush and Kriti Sanon and Rahman’s music, while some found the story and screenplay uneven.
