Storyline
Rehaan, a jaded wedding planner living in Los Angeles, meets Rumi, an aspiring novelist, during a holiday, and the two tumble into love over a heady few days. When the relationship turns toward marriage, a real obstacle surfaces: Rumi cannot bring herself to leave her ageing father behind in India. Rather than force a choice, Rehaan begins to rethink his own life and priorities, and the couple work toward a new kind of family arrangement. The film uses their romance to poke at conventional ideas of where a marriage should put down roots.
Production
Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri was directed by Sameer Vidwans from a screenplay by Karan Shrikant Sharma, and produced by Karan Johar and others under the Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures banners. The film was photographed by Anil Mehta and edited by Manan Mehta, with a runtime of about 145 minutes.
Music
The songs were composed by Vishal-Shekhar, with the background score by Hitesh Sonik, giving the film a polished, contemporary romantic soundtrack.
Reception
Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri released on 25 December 2025 and grossed around ₹48 crore worldwide. Reviews were mixed to negative: critics admired the cinematography and production design but felt the storytelling and central pairing lacked spark, and the film underperformed commercially.
