Ek Deewane ki Deewaniyat

Vikramaditya Bhonsle is a young, powerful politician used to getting what he wants — and what he wants is Adaa Randhawa, a fiercely independent superstar. Their attraction ignites into a passionate romance, but his intensity soon curdles into possessiveness and obsession. As pride and jealousy pull the couple apart and back together, the love story turns volatile, testing how far each will go in the name of desire. The film plays out as a heightened, melodramatic tale of a love that borders on fixation.

Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat was directed by Milap Zaveri, who wrote it with Mushtaq Shiekh, and produced by Anshul Rajendra Garg and Dinesh Jain under the Desi Movies Factory banner. The film was photographed by Nigam Bomzan and edited by Maahir Zaveri, with a runtime of about 141 minutes, leaning into the loud, emotionally charged register that marks Zaveri’s work.

The soundtrack was assembled from several composers and lyricists, mixing romantic ballads with high-drama tracks in keeping with the film’s heightened tone. One of its songs reworks a melody from the 1996 film Ghatak.

Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat released on 21 October 2025 and grossed around ₹112 crore worldwide, ranking among the year’s higher-earning Hindi films. Critical reaction, however, was mixed to negative, with reviewers faulting the film’s dated storytelling and its handling of its central relationship even as it drew audiences over the festive period.
