A couple on vacation in Sicily crosses paths with Diya’s carefree friend Ally. Testing her boyfriend Kunal’s loyalty, Diya asks Ally to flirt with him — but Ally begins to develop real feelings of her own. As the wedding approaches, Ally keeps trying to drive a wedge between the couple, before Kunal ultimately chooses Diya.

Cocktail 2 is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Pramita Vijan and Luv Ranjan under the Maddock Films and Luv Films banners, from a story by Luv Ranjan with a screenplay by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain. Principal photography took place between August 2025 and January 2026 across Sicily in Italy, Delhi, Chhatarpur and Gurugram. The film runs 150 minutes and was certified “A” (adults only) by the CBFC on 16 June 2026.

The soundtrack is composed by Pritam with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The album features the tracks “Jab Talak”, “Mashooqa”, “Tujhko”, “Vallah”, “Bandhu 2.0” and “Jag Se Laaj”.

Cocktail 2 released theatrically on 19 June 2026 and grossed ₹130.36 crore worldwide. Critical reception was mixed, with most reviews rating the film around 2 to 2.5 stars out of 5; common criticisms included excessive dialogue, limited chemistry between the leads and a slow narrative, while some reviewers found it entertaining and emotionally satisfying.
